The Valley Academy Educational Foundation received a mini-grant award from the Bob & Carolyn Tucker Greater Vision Ministry, part of the Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina and supported by BNC Bank.
The award provides tuition assistance to Valley Career Academy students to attend the "Business Cents Summer camp" hosted by Davidson County Community College Small Business Center. This summer camp allows students to tour our community seeking start-up business opportunities to utilize resources such as vacant buildings. The student teams then create and present formal business plans to a panel of community and business leaders who select the winning proposals.
