Students at Yadkin Valley Regional Career Academy are gearing up for their fourth annual Spring Exhibition happening Thursday, April 29th from 5:00-7:30 PM on the school’s campus (2065 E. Holly Grove Road in Lexington).

Toward the conclusion of every Fall and Spring semester, Exhibition is a way for students and staff to feature amazing projects completed throughout the semester in every class.  Visitors tour the school and enjoy immersive presentations as well as showcases of projects, internships, and college course experiences in every classroom.

Like the Super Bowl for project-based learning education, Exhibition is an opportunity for parents, community members and business partners to visit our campus and experience student presentations and projects that exemplify learning and accomplishments by the student body. Exhibition is our school's opportunity to showcase the learning and purpose behind project- based learning (PBL).
Visitors can expect to see a wide range of projects fully designed and created by students, such as fully-operational hydroponics systems, 3D-printed inventions, shadow puppet stories, re-enactments, short films, professionally-published children's storybooks, and much more.

Yadkin Valley Regional Career Academy (YVRCA) is an industry-focused public high school of choice promoting a blended, project-based learning environment that prepares students for the 21st century workforce. YVRCA students begin earning college credits free of charge beginning in their sophomore year and have access to internship opportunities beyond the capabilities of traditional high schools.
We hope to see our many friends, family and community partners take advantage of this opportunity to witness what makes YVRCA a unique educational resource for Davidson County using innovative learning tools preparing our young citizens for future careers.
